Venus is the planet of desire and connection, of beauty and refinement, and of pleasure and play. Talismans
The Sovereigns of the Boundless Sea talismans and were hand-carved on faceted-oblongs of lapis lazuli as Venus and Neptune were conjunct in Pisces during 2024 and 2025, utilising the final conjunctions of these planets in Pisces in this century. Drop of the Boundless Sea talismans utilised the the conjuction of 2025. These astrological conditions will not occur again until the later part of the 22nd Century.
At this time Venus was dazzling the world brightly as an evening star while Neptune, invisible to the naked eye, churned the cosmic depths for the final time in the sign of Pisces.
The telos and intention entwined within the talisman is to embody the powers of these oceanic lords: beneficent glamour, all supreme expressions of artistic and mystical prowess, and the boundless awards of such fecundity.
Rich and Ripening, Fecund and Fortunate
With Venus in Taurus, nine talismans were crafted, carved into rich green malachite cabochons and vibrant azurite cabochons splashed with Malachite. Both of these stones are mineralised copper carry powerful Venusian virtues. Equally, these stones are ethically-sourced and recycled.
All aspects of their creation took place during full ritual conditions and during auspicious astrological elections. With Venus as Morning Star, and during the period of greatest western (morning) elongation, the Star of Aphrodite actively seeks to establish her sovereignty and the fulfillment of their abundantly rich and bountiful desires on Earth.
In the election for the talismans’ creation and suffumigation, the abundantly radiant waning gibbous Moon in fertile Pisces, the sign of Venus’ exaltation, was blessing Venus by sextile, after being further bonified by the recent trine with Jupiter in Cancer. Venus is rising and the suffumigation took place during a Venus planetary hour.
There was a second ritual consecration and empowerment performed as the Moon was in Taurus, the sign of the Moon’s exaltation, conjunct Venus, giving her light to the Queen of Heaven.
The intentions and telos of these beauties bring forth sensuality, and deep appreciation of the exquisite fleshiness of the world, To taste, be touched, and at once enraptured, strong, firm, and soft—the pleasures of the earth made manifest. They are intended to grant the wearer and their efforts to come about by the power of the radiant and generative effluence of the Star of Aphrodite.
These talismans are for general good fortune, profound sexuality, drawing and emboding beauty, as well as talent in the arts and crafts.
De Quindecim Stellis tells us, “Mild indeed is this star in all things, wheresoever I find it, for great is its arc, and great it is appearance. Vega, Alpha Lyrae, one of the two brightest stars in the northern celestial hemisphere , the fifth luminous star in the night sky, and was the northern pole star during the 13th-century-BCE, which it will be again in the 14-century-CE. Vega is the brightest star in the constellation of Lyra, the Lyre, held within tropical Capricorn and sidereal Sagittarius.
This talisman is known from the traditional sources of western astral-magic to confers magnanimity and eminence, offering the power of persuasion; to give power over spirits, to drive away harmful spirits and daemons effortlessly and riding one of negative nocturnal phantoms; to free the wearer of fear; to have the gift to enchant beast and find favour with animals; to keep one free of disease. It is associated with the natures of Venus and Mercury, and known as favourable star. Chrysolite and its associated virtues proceed from this star, which grant immanence among, especially amongst the daemones. The associated herbs grant the bearer with unblemished health and grant power in acts of healing.
In summary, I have found that Vega’s light is like that of the Sun and the Moon, for they are circumpolar in the northern celestial hemisphere, the brightest star in the northern sky from September to December, and while only slightly second brightest to Arcturus from April to September, Vega has been, and will be again, the North Star, while Arcturus will never be able to fulfill this orientation.
Just as the light of the Sun and Moon are not easily ignored, the light of Vega for us in the northern hemisphere is impossible not to notice. Their rays shine down on us from the highest climes when both the Sun and Moon’s light is hidden. They are both a celestial and chthonic sun, offering an almost unfettered light. They are an enchanted lyre, the healing she-goat, an ancient vulture, and a cosmic eagle. Vega is the Star of Healing, Incantation, & Enchantment.
These Vega Talismans are to be crafted with gem-quality golden, glowing green Chrysolite (6mm round or 6mm x 8mm oval cabochons), more commonly known as Peridot, especially when in gem-quality, but may also be referred to as Olivine stone. These gems are the colour of warm seas are to be marked with the seal of Vega given in the De Quindecim Stellis and related sources. The optical qualities form the texts are given as such, “chrysolite, whose color is as the color of shining gold and doth seem as though it projecteth rays as rays of fire.” The nature virtue of this stone is said to terrify harmful spirits and daemons.
They will be available as a pendant or a ring in 14k Gold, 14k Rolled-Gold-on-Brass, or Sterling Silver.
As per the instructions given in the sources, the stellar seal and the stone are to be combined with Savory and Fumitory, both associated with bestail magnetism and healting, and a small portion of Turquoise, as stone tied to both Venus and Mercury, which has been powdered.
Each talisman will come with a jute pouch and a small amount of associated herbs and resins.
“Thus, by your assistance, you will help them so that they know those things they do not know and that they may understand the things they do not understand and that they may see the things that they do not see...”
These Mercury Talismans are crafted in both rectangular, green Caribbean-amber cabochons and oval, yellow, Baltic-amber cabochons as Mercury is culminating in Gemini during a magical operation. Two elections were used to time the start of carving, with an initial consecration, and the completion of craving with the suffumigation of the talismans.
Both featured Mercury culminating at the midheaven, Mercury is applying to Jupiter by conjunction, Mercury as the lord of the Sun, and have the Moon applying to Mercury. The final election features the Moon in Libra, ruled by Venus in Taurus and conjunct the zodiacal-degree of Spica, which is of the nature of Venus and Mercury, strongly placed in the second house. This indicates that these talismans are beneficial for acquiring personal wealth through Mercurial work.
The election and telos for this talisman endows the wearer with unparallelled skill, effective fastidiousness, and industriousness. The talisman enhances fine motor function, multi-tasking, and the application of calculation, writing, and speech. Equally, it will aid in the revelation and application of occult knowledge, and if desirable, will initiate the meeting of helpful magical assistants, or angelos. Along similar lines, it will aid in connecting the wearer with others that are skilled in bringing forth such manifestations. Lastly, these talismans gift the wearer with the ability to easily render the vague and indeterminate, intelligible and clear.
